USGS scientists to be featured at GSA 2017

USGS acting Director Bill Werkheiser, Program Coordinator for the National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program, John Brock, and several other Bureau scientists, as well state and local experts, will be part of this year’s Geological Society of America Annual Meeting, Oct 22-25 in Seattle. Of particular note is the Pardee Symposium on the morning of Oct 25. The discussion topic, moderated by USGS geophysicist Darcy McPhee, will be, “Earth Anatomy Revealed: Geologic Mapping for Our Future”. Details and registration: http://bit.ly/2hJGd6I
